A very nice example of this model, available for only a short time in 1959, the last of the M models with a friction motor.
This has always been one of my favourites as my dad had a red Countryman version of the Austin A40 with a fully opening rear. I had to buy a two-tone blue 216 and paint it red because the 216M had been discontinued when I started collecting.
This is one of many examples that I have available and has working motor, very clean windows without scratches and really nice paintwork. There are one or two chips, the most noticeable being on the roof and wings but this is a very nice-looking model.
The wheels and tyres are good and the base is clean.
